Where creativity feels like home

Alongside the main house is our working Stoep Studio — a lively creative space where I make my own art and host regular workshops. I am an artist specialising in oil painting, but since moving to Napier I have become more and more focused on printing processes.

My studio provides a space for art workshops and guest artist exhibitions.

It is also an art café where you can come and look at the work, dabble a bit, enjoy a moer coffee with condensed milk and a slice of home-baked cake, or a gourmet toasty. See what’s in the fridge — I have a selection of my dips and pates in there: creamy tzatziki, free-range chicken liver pâté, beetroot hummus and spicy chakalaka. These are some of the yummies that I make.

You’ll also find a range of merchandise: hand-printed dish covers, T-shirts and tote bags are some of the custom-made products I create.
